KNX Association Seeks a KNX Engineer to Join its Tools Team

General skills

  • Good documentation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, as well as an active team player
  • Like interacting with people
  • High customer and service orientation
  • Work in a structured way

Technical and Software skills

  • Experience with KNX and ETS is an asset
  • A degree in electrical or computer engineering
  • Comprehensive abstract reasoning
  • Experience with project management and project management tools

Language skills

  • English : good oral skills, write fluently
  • German : good oral skills, write fluently
  • French : some, willing to further improve
  • Any other language is an asset

Tasks

  • Ensure the operation of the business management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Zendesk, Insightly, Crowdin, Gitlab, Alchemer, Ubiq, Docusign, MailChimp, etc.)
  • Policy creation for use of the above business software to meet the company needs and to increase staff’s productivity and efficiency
  • Configuration, of the above business software to meet the company’s policies
  • Support and training for the above mentioned tools to the staff
  • Analyse and handle all technical support issues reported by customers
  • Handle bug reports and feature requests in the support system and forward them to the Tools Manager if required
  • Review and discuss requirements and reported bugs with the Tools Manager
  • Follow up of the reported technical support issues after a software release
