Hager Announces Five KNX Twisted Pair Heating Control and Analogue Signal Processing Products for German Market

Hager has brought five new KNX Twisted Pair (TP) products to market for heating control and processing of analogue signals:

TYB641A single installation for electrothermal actuator valves.

This actuator has a controlled output to a maximum of two electrothermal valves in heating and cooling systems, to control with a combined current consumption of 25mA max. Both valves which are open in the idle state, as well as valves which are closed, can be used in conjunction with this actuator. The actuator also has three separate binary inputs. The TYB641A features:
Control: on/off, proportional.
Cyclic status message of current valve position.
Emergency program to bus failure.
Alarm in the event of a short circuit or overload.
Automatic valves for maintenance.
Power only via KNX bus.
Commissioning is done with ETS software. The actuator is designed for permanent installation in sealed junction boxes preferably built close to the valve.

TYF642F dual central 10A fan coil actuator

This actor is responsible for the control of up to two fan coil units. These units are equipped with a fan with 6 speeds and usually two tubes that carry hot or cold water and connected to a heat exchanger, whose valves regulate the flow of water.

On/off and proportional systems are supported. The possibility also exists to regulate the fan, which is useful for hotel rooms, classrooms and offices.

The actuator can also be operated unprogrammed and without KNX bus voltage, making installation quick, and independent checks can be performed manually.
Configuration is done with ETS software.

The actuator has its own 230V voltage supply in addition to being connected to the KNX bus. The actuator is designed to be mounted on a DIN rail in compact sealed enclosures or cabinets.

TYF646T 6-way heating actuator

This heating actuator has 6 outputs to control electrothermal valves in heating and cooling (e.g. Heimeier 1835, Sauter MTX 116F200, Möhlenhoff AA 2001-00-1). It features:
Control: on/off, proportional.
Proportional control.
Protected against short circuit and overload.
Automatic valves for maintenance.
Emergency program in case of power failure.
Cyclic status message.

Configuration is done with ETS software. In unprogrammed state, the actuator can be tested in a W-installation without KNX bus voltage. The actuator has its own 230V voltage supply in addition to being connected to the KNX bus. The actuator is designed to be mounted on a DIN rail in compact sealed enclosures or cabinets.

TYF684 quadruple analogue central actuator

This analogue actuator receives KNX telegrams and converts them into analogue current or voltage values for control of heating, air conditioning and ventilation technology for example. There are adjustable parameters for individually-selected voltage or current control; and unused outputs can be deactivated. Output variables may be placed into a forced state by external systems in combination with the ‘dim’ function button.
The analogue actuator needs a 24V AC power supply. Configuration is done by via ETS software.

TYF784 quadruple central analogue input module

This analogue input module is used for the recording and processing of independent analogue sensor signals. These sensor signals are converted and transmitted via the KNX bus. An upper and lower limit can be set for each input, and limits can also be changed by push button control for example.

The analogue input module requires a 24V AC power supply. Configuration is done via ETS software.
