Intesis Highlights its KNX Climate Control and Gateways at Light+Building 2014

Hall 9.0 Stand B21 and Hall 8.0 F98

Intesis Software, a leading provider of home and building automation gateways and interface solutions for a connected world will showcase the new products of his portfolio in Light+Building exhibition (Frankfurt Messe, March 30th to April 04th) in Hall 9.0 Stand B21.

As an active member of most well established associations and alliances for the deployment of standard protocols in this industry, Intesis Software will also co-participate in the KNX Association booth (Hall 8.0 F98).

Intesishome

The only system in the cloud capable of providing control over you air conditioners and heat pumps of different brands (DAIKIN, PANASONIC, SANYO, MITSUBISHI HEAVY, TOSHIBA…), with a common interface and a complete system to control all your home equipment. Fast, easy to use, attractive and with many functionalities and possibilities.

Among the most noticeable innovations, we would like to highlight the new universal WiFi-IR device, for the control of air conditioning units using an infrared receiver (split, cassette, duct, etc.). With this new device, IntesisHome reaffirms as the most complete in the cloud based solution for the climate system control, remotely or locally.

KNX gateways for air conditioners

Intesis will demonstrate its newest generation of KNX gateways for Air Conditioners. A common objects interface, no matter the brand of the air conditioner, allows a very easy integration. This new generation of KNX gateways, implement new separated control and status communication objects providing more flexibility for the system integrator. Using the proprietary protocol of each AC manufacturer allows to provide to the KNX system all the capabilities each manufacturer is offering in the own AC unit.

EnOcean AC gateways highlights

Visitors at the Intesis booth will have the opportunity to see live demos of the EnOcean based integration new solutions that the company is launching this year. Using the own protocol of each air conditioner unit has permitted Intesis to develop a powerful line up of gateways addressing the EnOcean Ecosystem, with full bidirectional control capabilities for each AC brand.

Bidirectional KNX to EnOcean Gateway

Intesis presents their bidirectional KNX to EnOcean gateway solution (gateway IBOX-KNX-ENO-A1) for a seamless integration of sensors, actuators and bidirectional EnOcean devices in KNX systems. Interaction between EnOcean and KNX brings together the enhanced flexibility of wireless with the high performance of KNX.

HouseinHand®

KNX control from iOS (iPhone, iPad & iPod) and Android smartphones and tablets. It communicates with KNX installations via any KNX IP router, so it’s ideal for both new and existing installations. Unlike other server-based solutions, Houseinhand does not need dedicated hardware, allowing control of any KNX device including lights, HVAC, blinds, AV decks, and many more, in real time. It provides a rich user experience with the possibility to create different environments. Environments are scenes that are configured by end users according to their lifestyles.
