Building on a successful show in 2014, CEDIA, joint venture partners of ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) will be delivering an extensive training programme, incorporating 24 new and existing courses, at ISE 2015. (10th– 12thFebruary, RAI, Amsterdam).
With training remaining a key attraction at Integrated Systems Europe, CEDIA has expanded its education programme this year to focus on technical training, business development and industry developments.
Of the 24 expert workshops, CEDIA will be offering four one-day training courses and twenty 90 minute sessions. A number of new courses have been introduced this year, including an introduction to KNX and BMS, “Atmos, Auro 3D and more”, “Ecological Automation – the Basics of Energy”, “Fifty First Dates – Online Marketing” and “Working Profitably with Architects”.
Delegates can take advantage of an early bird discount rate of 10% on courses booked before the 16th January 2015.

Home Cinema Design Workshop – 1 Day

The technical design of a high performance Home Cinema is not a subjective decision. For every parameter, there is a standard that should be observed in order to offer a truly immersive entertainment experience. This course will examine those standards and give you an insight into the importance of designing cinemas using standards based engineering calculations rather than subjective guesswork. The morning will be classroom based where the instructor will introduce the standards and the engineering skills necessary to apply them.
The afternoon will be spent working in small groups applying the knowledge gained in the morning. During the afternoon workshop, a number of additional subject matter experts will be on hand to spend time with individual groups to help with the design.
By the end of this course, delegates will understand how applying engineering standards to cinema design ensures a high standard of repeatable performance.

Wireless Networking Workshop – 1 Day

This course has been created for anyone who needs to understand the design and implementation of wireless networks. Using a combination of teaching, and hands-on workshop sessions working in small groups this course will introduce, explain and allow delegates hands-on experience with a range of wireless networking product from different manufacturers. Delegates are invited to bring along wireless hardware that they themselves have used but had problems with.
At the end of the course, participants should be able to explain different wireless technologies and select the correct hardware, perform wireless surveys and correctly position Wireless Access Points, configure Wireless Access Points correctly for best performance in both singe access point and multiple access point environments, explain wireless security methods and correctly implement security on a range of wireless devices.

IP Networking for Integrators – 1 Day

This course addresses the available methods of remote access and their proper usage to improve your efficiency and customer satisfaction. Learn to properly configure VPN access, port forwarding, port translation, and dynamic DNS, and troubleshoot remote connection issues.

This training session serves as an important benchmark as the residential technology industry moves to full adoption of 4K Ultra HD as the standard for display resolutions. In addition to having the right products, a successful 4K Ultra HD integration requires designers and engineers to understand the intricacies of installing 4K products.
