Since March, the new administration of KNX Netherlands is officially in place. The new board consists of eight members and represents a larger number of members of the KNX network in the Netherlands. The KNX Netherlands network consists primarily of companies and organizations that all have one goal in mind: to increase the market for KNX-based home and building automation.
Late last year KNX Netherlands decided to adapt its governance structure, because of the ever-growing KNX network in the Netherlands. All members who join KNX in the Netherlands will now meet twice a year. They are represented by a Board that is chosen from the membership. At present, the Board consists of six representatives of KNX manufacturers, one representative of the KNX Wholesalers Partners and one representative of KNX Associates. In addition to these three groups, the KNX network also has KNX Technology Partners, KNX Training Centres and KNX Professionals. Altogether there are over 300 members, from large to small, active within this network.
Now that the market for home and building automation is attracting considerable attention, the number of companies that want to join KNX Netherlands is growing. With the new structure and the new Board of the organization, KNX Netherlands is able to optimally support all parties and to represent the interests of KNX.
The current KNX Netherlands board members are:

Ed Koomen – B.E.G. Luxomat
Edwin Hannink – Theben
