KNX Professionals Netherlands will announce the winner of its 2015 Awards during Elektrotechniek which takes place from 29 September to 2 October in Utrecht. The quality of entries is exceptionally high and covers a wide variety of projects. For example, one of the projects submitted is the major technical renovation of the Siemens headquarters in the Netherlands. Another is the automation of four different buildings at the multi-national Vopak, which can be completely managed and controlled from one central location via a single dashboard. Other notable entries are the KNX-based automation of the first Dolby cinema in the Netherlands, and a completely automated villa including indoor and outdoor pools, home theater and an underground garage for about ten cars with a car lift.
The jury consists of three KNX experts who, independent of any manufacturer or installer, will assess the projects submitted, nominate three submissions and finally choose one winner. The top three of the KNX Professionals Award 2015 will be announced amid great public interest at the trade exhibition party on Thursday, 1st October.
