The KNX UK Association is pleased to announce the election of two new board members at its 2017 AGM, which took place at Hanbury Hall, London. Following a ballot with the KNX UK members in attendance, a representative from BEMCO and Hager were elected to both serve a three year term for the association.
The two new board members were elected to further the work carried out by the manufactures, integrators, wholesalers and training providers on the board. Hager, a worldwide manufacturer of products and solutions is now represented on the KNX UK board by Matt Price from the company’s Technical Support team.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the KNX UK Association board,” says Matt. “KNX is an integral part of the solutions provided by Hager, and I’m looking forward to growing awareness for the KNX standard within the UK.”
UK based wholesaler and leading KNX training provider, BEMCO, has also been elected to a seat on the UK Association board, taken by Julian Barkes, the company’s Managing Director.
“I am delighted to be voted on to the KNX UK board,” added Julian. “I look forward to helping the Association raise the profile of KNX across the UK and develop initiatives to get more installers involved to create an active and thriving community”.

The AGM featured presentations and panel discussions from leading figures within the commercial and residential controls sector. Among the highlights was Johnny Ball, TV presenter and populariser of Mathematics, who delivered a keynote speech on technology.
