Sidtech GmbH has announced that the i500 multiroom audio system from Eissound, can now be controlled via KNX as well as Wi-Fi. The system comprises in-ceiling speakers and a central control unit that supports a KNX module. Control can be via a dedicated remote control with TFT colour display, and/or iPhone/iPad.
The central control unit includes RDS radio, and supports a built-in CD player or an iPhone/iPad or any other MP3 player. They can be installed as global sources for the entire system, or locally and individually for each zone/room.
The system is integrated into the KNX building bus via a KNX module for a range of control possibilities.
