On the occasion of the “PlugFest events” that took place in Moscow during the trade fair Interlight 2015, manufacturers of building automation and smart home systems from America, Russia, Europe and Asia provided their products to professional installers for public testing.
Organizers are the KNX User Club, the Moscow State University for Building (MGSU) and Frankfurt Trade Fair (organizer of the trade fair Interlight Moscow, powered by Light + Building).
More than thirty producers from all around the world presented their products in this context for individual ranking. In the context of “The choice of installers”, B.E.G.’s KNX occupancy detector PD11 has been awarded as slimmest detector in the world. The design-oriented occupancy detector for lighting and building control is characterized by the extremely flat visible mounting height of only 0.85 mm. It is especially preferred by architects for objects focussing on design.
“This award once again proves that functionality and design do not have to contradict each other. The innovative features of our products confirm us as a leading manufacturer of occupancy and motion detectors. We thank the organizers and all the participants who made their choice in favour of B.E.G.,” says Stephan Winkelmann, who is responsible for worldwide marketing at B.E.G.
