The e-magazine for KNX home & building control

Keeping COVID Under Control: The Freedom to be Flexible (Smart Building Virtual Conference)

In this session, Paul Foulkes, Sales Manager, Theben UK and Mark Warburton, Director, Ivory egg, explore the idea of a new built environment in light of the recent COVID pandemic, and what its role could be in keeping COVID under control.

This new normal needs to be flexible and tailor the building for new layouts and ever-changing levels of occupancy. Usage will need to change in line with the business needs and we need to react.

This pandemic has woken us up to the multi-faceted nature of flexibility. If it wasn’t designed into the building, how do you add it and mitigate against future risks?

The session comprises of a presentation from Paul Foulkes and a live Q+A with Mark Warburton.
