Intesis Software, a leading provider of home and building automation solutions has been selected from a large pool of candidates to participate in the W2NYC Global Industry Challenge, which will take place from May 12 to 14 in New York City.
The challenge is a global initiative launched by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) in partnership with New York International that brings innovative companies from around the world which are active in areas of strategic significance to the City and connects them with local business and community leaders. This edition focuses on the area of new manufacturing, including 3D printing and connected devices. In the case of Intesis, it has been selected by IntesisHome®, the home control system providing remote control of air conditioning and heat pumps, from the Internet and from any mobile device in an easy, intuitive and attractive way to the user. Launched in the spring of 2012, today thousands of users across Europe enjoy every day the IntesisHome experience.
According to Josep Ceron, CEO of Intesis, participating in the W2NYC is the first step of an important boost in promoting IntesisHome in the U.S., through the door of NYC, and with the help of potential collaborations at all levels that can come out of this event.
Along with Intesis, three Spanish companies and seven more from the Netherlands, USA, United Kingdom, Japan, Israel and Italy have also been selected for this edition.
