The UrbanTec Asia Conference at CIFTIS 2014, held at the China National Convention Center from 29-30 May 2014 in Beijing, China, focused on the technologies and services for smart cities and liveable urban environment, and for megacities in particular.
The objective was to build a platform for city planners, governments, leading solution providers and professionals to exchange and network. The Global Smart City Dialogue session resulted in a heated discussion among the delegates, with speakers focusing on the environment and policy issues in megacities. KNX successfully presented the KNX city concept during the dialogue.
The conference was completed with a brand showcase, where cities and companies (i.e. Siemens, Bayer, NEC, Samsung) presented their latest achievements in this area.
