The entire spectrum of applications – GEZE presents new innovative system solutions for door, window and safety technology
“At the BAU trade fair 2015 we experienced a visitor record at our stand: In comparison with BAU trade fair 2013, we could record a total visitor surplus of nearly 30 %. The number of foreign visitors, who came from almost 110 countries, increased by 62 %. BAU trade fair reconfirmed its position as the world’s most important trade fair of our sector. Our contacts were more international, top-class and professional than before. We thank all our customers, partners and visitors for showing interest in our trade fair presentation and for the lively and diverse interchange. The trade fair motto “GEZE. We care about solutions.” shows GEZE’s philosophy to respond to different functions present in modern buildings with innovative product and system solutions. This includes answering to the requirements of architects and planners, distributors, processors and trade up to and including users and operators of a building. As a system provider, GEZE won over with its complete cross-product solutions. What they all have in common is the latest technology, highest quality, functional variety, system ability, operational and user comfort, classy design and simple installation. The public also enjoyed the presentation of the various applications of GEZE products in the complete spectrum of public buildings and in private apartments in the three fields of Professional, Living and Service Solutions.
The product innovations which were presented at BAU 2015 include the new innovative swing door drive Powerturn for larger, heavier door leaves, e.g. in hospitals, commercial buildings or hotels. The fair highlight offers real added value where accessibility, functionality, visual presentation and installation are concerned. The visitors could measure the “strength” of the Powerturn in a strength challenge. The new drive also proved its system capability in the multifunctional GEZE interlocking door system, with which individual opening and closing settings can be realised on doors in pharmacies, banks or clean rooms.
For large, heavy door leaves and large opening widths at entrances to airtight clean rooms and sterile environments, GEZE presented the Powerdrive sliding door system in the new variants Powerdrive airtight and Powerdrive hermetic.
The draw-in damping ActiveStop is a real innovation for entrance doors and high-quality internal doors – whether in private accommodations or in offices. A mime artist staged the new “door experience”, which was memorable for the visitors.
For private entrance doors, GEZE presented a complete door system, which connects access control, accessibility and protection against burglary with a combination of the new standalone access control system GEZE SecuLogic GCER 100, the swing door drive ECturn Inside and a multiple locking mechanism.
The new RWA window drives of the IQ windowdrive series demonstrated intelligence and excellent visual appearance. They impressed the visitors twice: With the new IQ box KNX interface to other KNX-compatible components in a building system and as a new application for parallel-opening vent windows in modern glass fronts.
The trade fair presentation was completed with new glass solutions. The new manual sliding wall system with fine-framed leaves divides and opens rooms in the sophisticated shop fitting, hotel lobbies, cafés or office buildings gently and reliably and also ensures maximum transparency with insulation glass. The new manual sliding door system Levolan 120 (with the same visual appearance) is twice as stable as the reliable Levolan 60 system so that interior sliding doors can now also be designed and moved with elegant ease for door leaves of up to 120 kg. Equipped with a completely new draw-in damping system, light sliding doors with the new sliding door fitting Rollan 40 NT SoftStop are now more convenient to use.
The individual service when using GEZE products was demonstrated by the experts from the Customer Solutions division with specific, application-related solutions, which left nothing to be desired. The GEZE technical lectures struck a chord with the visitors. An expert spoke about the complexity of multifunctional doors and – in relation to that – on the comprehensive practical support and consultation expertise, which GEZE offers door planning, designing and implementation.
