Assa Abloy Visionline talks to JUNG KNX for guest-room management with extra convenience

Interface to the world of access control
For the connection to the Visionline software, JUNG has developed a new plug-in for its Facility Pilot. Together, the two components open up new fields of operation. While the KNX technology provides the intelligent functions in the hotel room with its intuitive operating concept, the connection to the Visionline software clearly increases the range of services. This extra convenience is already noticeable on entering the room. This could be a welcome scenario triggered when the door is opened with the key card. This includes, for example, automatically switching on the lighting, opening of window hangings or also setting the air conditioning to comfort mode. Also with respect to safety and energy-saving, the new technology alliance offers real advantages. Among others, special profiles for personnel can be created and triggered. For example, the lighting conditions for room cleaning are optimised, or a message sent to reception when the room door is not closed. The possibilities are numerous.
