Visitors to Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) understand just how smart our buildings are becoming and the growing role that automated technologies are having on our lives. Of course, AV technologies are a fundamental part of this trend and ISE is the must attend show for those interested in learning about the latest Smart Building technologies and in hearing from leading Smart Building professionals.
Not only is Smart Building a key element of the four ISE show days, the Smart Building Conference (SBC) takes place at the RAI Amsterdam on the day before the show.
As you explore the show floor at ISE, you’ll find a huge number of manufacturers, suppliers and integrators that are concerned with Smart Building technologies. The areas of Smart Building covered includes: air conditioning, lighting and shutter control, security systems, heating, ventilation, monitoring, alarming, water control, energy management, metering, audio and household appliances.
The Smart Building Conference 2016, the fifth instalment of the annual, full-day conference, welcomed over 200 delegates. It offered a twin-track programme, one that specialised in Commercial and the other that focused on Residential. It concluded with a closing keynote from Daniela Tenger, researcher at Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute, who presented: ‘Smart Home 2030: How Digitisation is changing the way we build and live’.
The Smart Building expert insights continue throughout the show. In 2017, Hall 9 will become the new focal point for Smart Building at ISE. Not only will there be a concentration of relevant exhibitors, but the brand new CEDIA Smart Building Theatre sponsored by KNX will be found there too.
These additions to the show format will help to crystallise the Smart Building offer and provide a platform for future development of the category. The new area will host around 50 booths, with KNX’s stand being a main attraction.
ISE 2017 will, once again, be a key event for those interested in Smart Building and its associated technologies.
