Whether your interest is Smart Building, Smart Office or Smart Home, the Smart Building Conference at ISE 2017 will guide you through the transformation of our industries.
According to SBC Conference Chair Bob Snyder, IoT will transform the face of the industry more than any development since the days of Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla.
Tech’s powerful engines of internet and mobility may be the drivers of big changes, but today they’re fuelled by the Internet of Things (IoT). This is the theme being explored by over 30 of the world’s leading Smart Building thought leaders and experts at the one-day, twin track conference. It will take place on 6 February at the RAI Amsterdam, the day before Integrated Systems Europe 2017 opens its doors.
Keynote speaker Managing Director of Memoori Reseach, James McHale, will explain to delegates why and how the combined global market for the Internet of Things in Buildings (BIoT) will grow from $23.5Bn in 2015 to $75.5Bn by 2021- an impressive CAGR of 20.7%.
McHale, says, “The IoT use cases that will experience the greatest revenue growth in Western Europe are smart buildings, smart home, in-store contextualised marketing, and connected vehicles, all of which will see revenue increases of more than 28% CAGR over the 2016-2020 forecast period.”
Another speaker (Bernhard Huessy, CEO and co-founder of nomos system AG, a patented Internet of Things automation software platform) will talk about how IoT opportunities will shape the next 5 years of system integration in Commercial, Residential & Marine.
Smart Building Conference will also include presentations on how Microsoft’s HoloLens will change the way we look at all buildings, how the market is growing for clean air products in home and business, how AI (like IBM’s Watson) and voice interfaces (like Amazon’s Alexa) will shape our industries and how to profit from the increasing need for security (physical, virtual, and video security).
Other topics at the Smart Building Conference will includes building automation systems and Big Data output.
The twin tracks (Residential and Commercial) will offer dual insight to help you understand that Smart Building is neither a product nor a standalone technology but an end-to-end solution that will change our homes, offices and buildings forever.
