Belgian smart home design company Basalte introduces an interesting addition to its range of minimalist controls for smart homes: a wall version of its flat motion sensor Auro, sharing the same form factor and high-end finishes as Basalte’s luxury line of switches, thermostats and sockets.
Auro is not just a motion sensor. Its integrated LEDs can be used to light up at detection or permanently as a night light: the perfect solution to break the darkness in a hallway, dressing or bathroom. Auro additionally hosts a temperature and light sensor, and is also available in black!
Although Auro is typically put in ceilings, there are some situations where it is useful to have a motion sensor in your wall: think near stairway cases where you have an open ceiling, in a hall- way or next to the bed.
This new solution nicely blends in the interior, especially if you also use the Basalte switches and sockets in the same form factor. The cover is available in the same aluminium, classic and fer forgé finishes as the switches.
