Finally, an ETS App for the KNX Partner tribe: for those who love delivering high quality projects, this App will help applying state- of-the-art Project Management techniques. ETS is a great tool, which main advantage is its vendor independent approach. KNXPM Project Management App adds a Project Management layer, which enhances ETS as a unique tool, since it allows gathering in one spot all the equipment and installation material (and not only the KNX devices) related to the project.
Philosophy
Designed and tested by a PMP® (Project Management Professional), and with the PMBOK® spirit as a reference, this tool allows designing and monitoring the project in all its phases (Initiating, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Controlling, Closing), so that the KNX Partner can add the tasks related to the project, including the labour (hours) and equipment (devices, equipment and installation material) for each task. During the Execution, Monitoring & Controlling phases, the KNX Partner can track the evolution and performance of the project, with the ability to compare to the planned values (Planning phase). Additionally, changes in the project scope can be added and traced conveniently. What´s not measured cannot be improved, and it is part of the App´s DNA offering the best tools to the KNX Partner to make the most of the available resources and obtain the highest profit on each project.
