KNX currently wishes to extend its Team with a KNX ETS (Engineering Tool Software) Product Manager
General skills
- Has good oral communication, presentation, negotiating and documentation skills
- Is able to manage projects autonomously, yet as an active team player
- Has an eye for detail, able to multitask and work well under pressure
- Natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative
- Sincere empathy for the customer and a commitment to delve deep into the challenges they present or experience
Educational skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field such as economics, communication, advertising, marketing or statistics, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology
- Affinity for software and Information Technology
- Expertise in home/building automation, KNX and ETS
- Expertise in other home and building automation systems is an asset
Language skills
- English : good oral skills, write fluently
- German : good oral skills, write fluently
- Any other language is an asset
Tasks
- Permanent market research (through interaction with KNX members/future and potential ETS licensees – via participation to conferences/fairs and visits) to reap ideas for functionality that is missing in the ETS and would be beneficial for the success of KNX in the market
- Benchmarking the KNX ETS with competitors’ products/software and drawing conclusions from this
- Specifying and overseeing the research needed to determine the needs and desires of ETS licensees
- Helping to oversee the design and planning how to market and promote the ETS to the public
- Reporting via the KNX Management to the KNX Executive Board
