KNX Association Seeks a KNX ETS Product Manager

KNX currently wishes to extend its Team with a KNX ETS (Engineering Tool Software) Product Manager

General skills

  • Has good oral communication, presentation, negotiating and documentation skills
  • Is able to manage projects autonomously, yet as an active team player
  • Has an eye for detail, able to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative
  • Sincere empathy for the customer and a commitment to delve deep into the challenges they present or experience

Educational skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field such as economics, communication, advertising, marketing or statistics, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology
  • Affinity for software and Information Technology
  • Expertise in home/building automation, KNX and ETS
  • Expertise in other home and building automation systems is an asset

Language skills

  • English : good oral skills, write fluently
  • German : good oral skills, write fluently
  • Any other language is an asset

Tasks

  • Permanent market research (through interaction with KNX members/future and potential ETS licensees – via participation to conferences/fairs and visits) to reap ideas for functionality that is missing in the ETS and would be beneficial for the success of KNX in the market
  • Benchmarking the KNX ETS with competitors’ products/software and drawing conclusions from this
  • Specifying and overseeing the research needed to determine the needs and desires of ETS licensees
  • Helping to oversee the design and planning how to market and promote the ETS to the public
  • Reporting via the KNX Management to the KNX Executive Board
