The rocker switch replaced the rotary switch around the beginning of the 1920s. As well as functionality, the straightforward, easy to use switch has an aesthetic level for the first time. Purist design and innovation have been combined at JUNG since 1912 – with LS 1912, the company is continuing this tradition and applying it in a modern way. The switches can be combined with the frames of the LS range; the name of the new switch is a tribute to the foundation year of JUNG.
New interpretation of a rocker switch
Based on the JUNG switch of the early years, the LS 1912 rocker switch turns the switching mechanics into a new experience. The switch mechanism is designed so that the cover closes flush with the frame. Only the rocker lever rises out of the unit as style element. JUNG transfers the many years of experience in metalworking into an elegant selection of materials – from aluminium, via stainless steel and brass to chrome.
Variety
Rocker switch, cover and switch mechanism have been modularly developed for LS 1912 so that no screws for the fixing are visible. The switch can thus be combined in all 1-gang to 5-gang frames in the LS range (LS 990, LS Design, LS Plus and LS Zero) and fits in every common flush mounting box.
Design language
High-quality material, clear design language – the LS 1912 skilfully manages the bridge from retro to modern.
