CEDIA welcomes all ISE 2019 attendees to join them in the new Main Stage theatre at the show to hear winners from the 2018 EMEA CEDIA Awards talk through their projects, outline the challenges they faced, and explain the reasons behind their successes in front of a live audience.
CEDIA integrators will be partnering with key brands from technologies used in their award-wining solutions to discuss projects covering Media Room, Home Cinema, Integrated Home, Best Showroom, and Best Multi-Dwelling categories. Hosted by CEDIA, these 30-minute conversations are free to attend on a first-come, first served basis, with no pre-booking required. Located in a central position in Hall 8, the ISE Main Stage will be a key component of the show’s ‘Learn, Discover, Be Inspired’ initiative.
Winning Best Integrated Home £120,000 – £230,000, as well as taking home the Global win in the same category, Intuitive Homes and Ultamation from Manchester and Liverpool will be discussing their award-winning project with ISE attendees.
Also on the programme will be London-based Cornflake, who picked up the award for Best Home Cinema £340,000 and Over for the first residential IMAX in Europe, which offers the same level of theatrical excellence experienced at the commercial Waterloo cinema, but in a medium-sized underground basement.
Based in India, Sound Sense will also be taking part in CEDIA’s Main Stage Programme after taking away three CEDIA Awards this year for Best Home Cinema £40,000 and under, Best Showroom, and Best Home Cinema – Global, as well as being highly commended in two other categories.
Each integrator will be explaining their project brief, what made it so challenging, and how they came up with and implemented their technology solutions in what are set to be lively, and incredibly insightful discussions for visitors to ISE 2019.
The CEDIA Awards celebrate excellence in home technology design, installation, and integration. This year, the EMEA CEDIA Awards ceremony took place at the British Museum on Thursday 27 September, with winners announced across 26 hotly contested categories.
Elsewhere at the show, CEDIA’s four-day education programme for ISE 2019 will cover a wide range of topics across multiple residential and business applications, presented by industry experts from across the globe. More details to follow soon.
