WAGO Announces flexROOM Room Automation with KNX and SMI Interfaces

WAGO‘s flexROOM® Application was specifically designed for user-friendly room automation, allowing a building’s lighting, shading and temperature to be quickly and easily controlled.

In addition to WAGO‘s standard I/O modules and building-specific DALI and EnOcean systems, both the SMI and KNX interfaces are integrated into flexROOM®, enabling a large number of room control units to take full advantage of the KNX standard. WAGO‘s SMI Modules provide precise blind positioning, making them a true alternative to conventional drive systems thanks to quiet operation via soft start technology.

With flexROOM®, the room temperature can be easily and quickly adapted to users‘ requirements via web application and convenient user interface. Both users and service technicians can parameterize each room individually using a standard Web browser – no additional software is required. Using flexROOM®, they can adjust the controllers independently of the location and distribution cabinet design. In addition, this solution simplifies both diagnostics and maintenance.
