Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology Rescheduled to 30 September – 3 October 2020

Originally planned to be held in June, Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) has been rescheduled to 30 September – 3 October. The concurrent Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition will also take place on these new dates, with both fairs held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. GEBT will continue to support the industry with the goal to inject a fresh momentum by showcasing new products and technologies.

Ms Lucia Wong, Deputy General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd said: “We would like to thank the industry associations, exhibitors and the fair’s supporters who have cooperated with us as we face this uncertain time together. The pandemic has created challenges for the industry, but it is our hope that together with the support of these groups, GEBT can create new business opportunities in 2020. With the rapid advancements in IoT technologies, and the convergence of more information technology into the daily lives of consumers, there are exciting times ahead for the industry, and it is our aim for GEBT to once again be the ideal platform to discover and take advantage of these opportunities.”

Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology serves the electrical engineering, intelligent building and smart home markets. The fair presents a series of applications, technologies and solutions for green buildings, hotel engineering, IoT, system integrators, protocols, AIoT and more. GEBT is a strong proponent of the government’s 13th Five Year Plan for the Development of Building Energy Efficiency and Green Buildings which, as an important part of China’s sustainability goals, leads to increased demand for green building technologies and solutions at the fair.
