On May 14, the Final Round Domotic LIFE Project was held in Valladolid, Spain. This project analyzes the contribution of building control systems for energy efficiency in three buildings: the Centre for Environmental Resources and Sustainability of Castile and Leon (RESP building), the Universidad San Jorge and Vocational School of Grupo San Valero (both in Zaragoza).
KNX is the main control system used in two of these facilities. The project’s findings show significant energy savings – and in some cases greatly exceeded 40%. KNX Spain participated with a corporate presentation explaining all the advantages of KNX as an open standard for control and automation of homes and buildings.
