Wago Ships its 750-889 KNX IP Controller for Building Automation

Proven concept taken to a whole new level: The KNX IP Controller for building automation is in stock and ready to ship.

WAGO’s new 750-889 KNX IP Controller is the smart solution for state-of-the-art building and system automation. The WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 Series Controller has been upgraded with a more powerful processor than its predecessor. This, combined with a program memory that has doubled in capacity and data memory that is four times larger, is capable of managing even the most complex control tasks. The controller can be incorporated directly into an ETHERNET line topology via its integrated 2-port switch.

The 750-889 provides an onboard SD card slot to expand storage capacity for implementing more complex Web visualizations, storing trend log data or conveniently making backup copies of a PLC program (Backup & Restore). At the touch of a button, the controller boots up with a fixed IP address that it is always accessible and configurable. Limiting telegram rates and an optimized boot sequence also improve network traffic for faster startup.

Enhanced compatability between ETS and CODESYS: The Sym-XML file only must be synchronized when the INX interface is modified. The additional steps of generating and importing a Sym-XML file between a control system and the ETS software are no longer required for all other program changes in CODESYS. For a better overview and expedited programming, functions and other items have been shifted from the WAGO plug-in back into ETS.

Using the freely programmable 750-889 KNX IP Controller, you can link, control, regulate and monitor all KNX devices from a variety of building systems. When paired with WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 I/O modules, other sensors, actuators and sub-buses (e.g., DALI and EnOcean) can be integrated into the controller. The router function, in combination with the TP1 Module, automatically connects the KNX two-wire bus system to ETHERNET. This permits building or system operation via a local network or the Internet.

Evolved performance: Using the freely programmable 750-889 KNX IP Controller, you can link, control, regulate and monitor all types of KNX devices from a variety of building systems.
