Thinknx, a universal and multi-purpose supervisor for the building automation, will introduce its latest developments at Light and Building 2016 (Hall 9.0 – Booth A59).
First of all Audiofy, the KNX professional multiroom audio system, which combines audio matrix routing, power amplifiers for each output and up to four independent network players. The system is able to spread audio contents from external analog sources or from internal players toward up to 12 rooms with superior pure sound quality. Thanks to all the protocols supported, Audiofy is perfectly integrated inside automation systems. A native KNX TP port sends commands to the music system directly from other KNX devices and receives feedbacks. Moreover, a complete set of Apps grants a total control over your music listening experience coming from USB stick, network radios or the most common streaming services.
As regards inputs, each one is single ended and high impedance, with pluggable screw terminals and with a selectable gain (0 to 20dB); the Internal streamer streams and plays all the most diffused digital audio format from DLNA and UPnP Media server, network shares and USB pluggable storage. Each player is also an AirPlay endpoint and UPnp renderer; the Sound processor has 3-Band equalizer, +15 dB/-79dB volume control and L/R balance adjusted for each output as well as the possibility for each input to be routed to one or more outputs; each stereo Output is fault protected and embeds a high efficiency class D amplifier with 2×50 W continuous power on 40hm.
Audiofy is available in 2 different models: P1, has a single internal player, 4 analog inputs and 4 amplified outputs, while Audiofy P4 has 4 internal players and 2 analog inputs that can be routed to the 4 amplified outputs. Audiofy E4, is the expansion module to add 4 additional amplified stereo outs to existing P1 or P4 module.
Envision touch-servers, the new all-in-one series of touchpanels will allow to have Thinknx control technology directly inside in-wall touch screen devices which act as user interfaces as well as server for other clients. Each Envision touch-server is characterized by stylish high-quality materials, top-class screen resolution and has direct KNX TP connection and additional serial ports for connecting third-party systems.
Even more integrations are now available to better cover all possible installation cases. In particular Z-Wave plugin allows to seamlessly control wireless devices from KNX and vice versa permitting to have a convenient turnkey solution also for restorations or where KNX is not usable.
A completely new Android App has been developed to further increase user experience introducing also project management features (multi-project and direct import) already available in iOS clients.
Furthermore, a new plugin will be available to program KNX devices using ETS and ThinKnx server through the network.
