With version 2.0, Revox, the Swiss audio specialists, have enhanced the functions and customising options for their powerful multiuser audio system. Thanks to personal profiles, each user can access their personal favourites everywhere in the house, whether that is from playlists on the audio server or from their favourite Internet radio stations. The Revox Multiuser System distributes the audio signals from central sources throughout the entire house, in the highest audio CD quality and perfectly synchronised.
The user-centric operating concept is also unique. An intuitive App for iPhone or Android invites you to browse through content and to control the whole system. But an App isn’t always the best control option. So for such circumstances. Revox also offers operation through a classic infrared remote control. This enables you for example, to adjust the television volume very quickly just by feeling for the right key, without having to take your eyes off the on-screen action. Not to forget to the wall-mounted operator panels, for example the printable versions from Gira or Feller that can be personalised with names or icons. The user-centric control makes it simplicity itself: Just press the button that’s got your name on it and your favourite music starts to play straight away.
Thanks to a new KNX Gateway, the Revox Multiuser System can now be integrated into an intelligent building automation system using KNX. The Swiss audio specialists have been focussing on networking for many years and they offer future-proofed solutions for the seamless integration of building technologies and entertainment electronics into one holistic system. Light scenes, combined with appropriate sounds, can be called at the press of a button or greeting scenarios can be stored with the music that welcomes you to the house. In the same way that the Revox Multiuser System can be operated from the KNX world, so shutters can be closed or lights dimmed from the Revox world.
Listening to your audio favourites is a good way to get your day off to a great start. The Revox Multiuser System has four timers per room. The wake-up time, the weekday(s), the source and the volume can be configured individually by each user. The timers can also be activated or deactivated from the KNX world, if one day should deviate a bit from the programmed standard settings.
The Revox Multiuser System is a multiroom system, that distributes music and sound in CD quality around the house or apartment over the Ethernet. Audio streaming offerings such as Spotify or Deezer together with Apple TV, Google Chromecast or Amazon Fire TV can also be integrated in the multiuser system.
