Pulsar Engineering Shows Audiofy KNX Multiroom Audio System with Embedded ThinKnx at ISE 2017

Audiofy, KNX native professional multiroom audio system, now embeds ThinKnx functionalities.

ThinKnx, a universal and multi-purpose supervisor for the building automation, announces today that it will introduce its latest news at ISE 2017 (Hall 9, Booth F170, D182).

Audiofy, the powerful integrated multiroom professional audio system includes now ThinKnx supervision functionalities. Just with a dedicated plugin, you can now have a complete control on KNX plants and on all the integrated devices such as Doorcom, Z-Wave, Reports, Logic functions etc. like every ThinKnx server. Controlled by Audiofy app, Audiofy streams music contents from internal players (which can play all the most diffused digital audio format from DLNA and UPnP Media server, Spotify, AirPlay etc.) or from analog stereo inputs towards up to 16 rooms, allowing the final user to manage the routing of audio sources, control volume and launch playlists directly from his smartphone/tablet or KNX.

Two models are available: P1, has a single internal player, 5 analog inputs and 4 amplified outputs and Audiofy P4, which has 4 internal players and 2 analog inputs that can be routed to the 4 amplified outputs. Audiofy E4, is the expansion module to add 4 additional amplified stereo outs to existing P1 or P4 module.

It can be easily installed on wall with angle brackets, on Rackmount or simply leant on a table or a desk.

ENVISION Z-WAVE

Envision is an all-in-one Touch Server, which allows you to control your home or building, using a capacitive high resolution touch screen and low power consumption. The result is the comfort of a touch user interface and the powerful features of a ThinKnx server, all in one device.

Envision Z-Wave server is now available. It has integrated Z-Wave controller, allowing the bidirectional interaction between KNX and Z-Wave devices and providing, in this way, more power and flexibility to the building. Available in 7” and 10”, Envision can be easily mounted on wall and even personalized according to the location where it will be installed. Stylish frames made of anodized aluminum are available in black, silver, dark grey, gold and in white (matte).

Among the already existing integrations of KNX, Z-Wave, Modbus and BTicino Legrand, ThinKnx has included AMAZON ECHO and soon APPLE HOMEKIT.

Amazon Echo, the smart speaker connected to the voice of the personal assistant Alexa will allow you to manage, through easy vocal commands every function integrated inside ThinKnx system such as lights, temperatures, shutters, security, scenes, multimedia etc.

The voice commands are translated to low level actions independently from the underlying protocol and technology (KNX, Z-Wave, Modbus etc.)

Apple Homekit permits to connect all the integrated protocols to iDevice that will leverage them. In this way, you will be able to command KNX using Siri from your phone, Apple Watch or using the shortcuts created by iOS operating system.

It will be even easier to recall your favorite scene, receive notifications or to have the control of the house at your wrist.
