Hello [NAME]
As summer in the Northern Hemisphere hots up, the team at KNXtoday is in a holiday mood.
Our articles start with a country profile on Qatar by Rasoul Moghaddam of Armiti Group, in which he explains how KNX is succeeding in the Gulf state, and is being used in major projects as well as for residential buildings including the first eco villa in Qatar.
Next, our regular columnist Simon Buddle reminds our UK readers in particular to make a note of new wiring regulations that will affect KNX installations. Indeed his advice about panels and testing is universal and well worth a read by everyone, wherever you are.
With the holidays in mind, Nikita Thompson takes us through the principles of scene setting, with useful advice on system structure and programming, and this is followed by Christophe Lavergne of DMC USA, who gives excellent and detailed advice on ETS programming discipline.
Don’t forget that you can comment at the end of these articles, and do remember to send us a picture of you, wherever you may be, with the KNX logo and a smile for our 'Where is KNX?' gallery. Enjoy!
