Hello [NAME]
This month is an historic milestone as KNX celebrates its 25th anniversary. To mark this special occasion, our articles start with an enlightening interview with the KNX Association board members. Here they discuss those developments of which they are most proud, what they look forward to in future, and the one most important thing that will ensure the standard's continued success.
This is followed by a fascinating case study by Chris Topham of Abtec Building Technologies, which looks at how KNX is making headway into the IoT within a specialist care hospital. Next, we have a report on the recent 100% Design show. This event not only allows trade professionals to see, try out and discuss a range of KNX technologies with well-informed suppliers, it also provides inspiration from a wider breadth of exhibits.
Our regular contributor, Charlotte Blissett-Griffiths of Ivory Egg then treats us to an overview of how to keep heating control simple for the systems integrator and the end-user, with useful tips, examples, and advice. And finally, our technical guru Simon Buddle rounds off the issue with a stimulating look back over the last 25 years, and how things are likely to progress over the next 25.
Don’t forget that you can comment at the end of these articles, and do remember to send us a picture of you, wherever you may be, with the KNX logo and a smile for our 'Where is KNX?' gallery. Enjoy!
