Hello [NAME]
You might have noticed that we have gone through a redesign of the website. The content is just as good as before, but the layout and style have been improved to work across all screen sizes, so I hope you like it!
We've announced a lot of training opportunities and events around the world over the past month, all with a KNX focus. There are more training and events in the pipeline, including the KNX Italy Annual KNX Day on 22 November, and KNX Austria's Connecting Technology event on 9 December, so do check out our events & training news for regular updates, as well as our events calendar.
Our articles this month feature a case study of The Crystal in London's Docklands. This building has achieved the highest sustainable building accolades from LEED and BREEAM, and the case study by Chris Topham of Abtec Group provides a fascinating insight into the project management side of the installation. Our Best Practice column by our regular contributor, Simon Buddle of SMC, gives useful tips and techniques for cable installation, while our Country Profile, by Filomena d’Arcangelo, focuses on the energetic activities of KNX Italy. The subject of our interview this month is Jacob de Muijnck of Gira, who gives us his take on the KNX market, and finally, our resident 'Mr Fix It', Dr KNX, explains what ETS4 Dynamic Folders are, and how to create and use them.
You can comment on any of these articles directly, at the end of the article, and don’t forget to send us a picture of you, wherever you may be, with the KNX logo and a smile for our Where is KNX? gallery. This month we feature the coolest number plate ever - what do you think?
